Distressed denims are a big rage these days. Being a thirty something woman, should I own a distressed jeans is a question I have asked time and again to myself. I have gone throw countless number of trials before selecting this one that I am wearing. The cut and the colour on this one made me fall in love with this piece. Do you think a particular outfit should be worn by a specific age group , skin colour etc.

I am a person who have been told countless number of times from my childhood what I should wear by almost every other person around me. To an extend that I believed , people around me knew what looked good on me more than I. This resulted in me wearing what I never felt happy in and in turn it affected my confidence.

We live in a society where everybody has an opinion on every single thing a girl does. Most of the girls are not capable of making decisions on their own. Why ? Because there are people who are constantly telling her what to do 🙂 . I on my part am trying to come out of this . Few years before I made a conscious decision to do things that make me happy.
Put on clothes that I think looks good on me. Wear make up that I think looks good on me.![]()
I dont really get affected by statements like ” This lipstick doesn’t suit your skin colour”. or ” Your outfit is making you look hard” . I am not fair. My complexion is in the dusky to dark category. I like that about myself and I don’t regret that one bit.

Combining this polka dot top with jeans was a deliberate one. For a more feminine look you can pair it with a midi length top. I personally like to pair feminine elements with tough elements. Thats just my style.
